1. TERMS OF SALES

1.1 Pricing & Taxes:

  • All prices are in INR, Ex-Works Chennai unless specified.
  • GST @ 18% extra as applicable. Any increase in taxes, duties, freight due to Govt. regulation will be charged extra.
  • Quoted price is for standard supply as per specification only.

1.2 Payment Terms:

  • Standard: 50% Advance along with PO, 50% before dispatch against PDI photos/video.
  • For orders below ₹50,000: 100% Advance.
  • Cheque/DD to be drawn in favour of "ELMEC HEATING SYSTEMS".
  • Payment delay will attract interest @ 18% per annum and delivery will be extended.
  • Equipment will not be dispatched until full payment is realized.

1.3 Delivery & Dispatch:

  • Delivery period: 6-8 weeks from date of receipt of technically & commercially clear PO & Advance, unless otherwise mentioned.
  • Delivery dates are estimates only. ELMEC is not liable for delay due to force majeure, transport strike, natural calamity, non-availability of raw material, supplier delay.
  • Freight, Insurance, Packing will be extra at actuals unless included.
  • Risk of goods passes to buyer once handed over to transporter.

1.4 Design & Specifications:

  • We reserve the right to modify design for better performance without prior notice.
  • Product images on http://elmecheaters.com are for representation only. Actual product may vary slightly.
  • Customer approved drawings, if any, will be final for manufacturing.

2. WARRANTY POLICY

2.1 Standard Warranty:

  • 12 Months Warranty from date of invoice/dispatch against manufacturing defects for Heating Elements, Control Panel, Blowers.
  • 6 Months Warranty for bought-out items like Motors, Gearbox, Bearings, VFD, PID Controllers, Sensors as per OEM warranty.
  • Wear & Tear Items - No Warranty: PU/PVC Belts, Gaskets, Silicone Seals, Fuses, Glass Wool, Indicator Lamps.

2.2 Warranty Conditions:

  • Warranty void if equipment is misused, tampered, repaired by unauthorized person, improper power supply (voltage fluctuation), improper earthing, water logging.
  • Warranty covers only replacement of defective parts at our works. No onsite warranty for orders outside Chennai unless AMC taken.
  • To claim warranty: Customer must email to sales@elmecheaters.com with Invoice No, Video of defect, Serial No plate.
  • After warranty period, all spares & services will be chargeable.

2.3 Warranty Not Covered:

  • Damage due to high TDS borewell water, chemical corrosion, overload.
  • Damage due to operating above rated temperature.

3. RETURN, CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

3.1 As all our products are CUSTOM-BUILT as per customer size/specification, NO RETURN / NO REFUND is possible once manufacturing is started.

  • Before Manufacturing: Order can be cancelled with 25% deduction of order value towards engineering & tooling cost.
  • After Manufacturing / Before Dispatch: Order cannot be cancelled. If customer refuses to take delivery, advance paid will be forfeited. Product will be held for 15 days only.
  • After Dispatch / Delivery: No return accepted. Replacement will be done only if wrong item dispatched due to our error, reported within 48 hours of receipt with unboxing video.
  • Standard Stock Items (Heaters, Controllers, Sensors): Return accepted within 7 days in unused, original packing condition with 20% restocking charge. To & Fro freight to be borne by customer.
  • Refund, if eligible, will be processed within 15 working days via same payment mode.

4. TOOLING & SERVICE VISIT DISCLAIMER

4.1 Tooling:

  • Any tooling, jigs, fixtures, dies made for order execution remains property of ELMEC HEATING SYSTEMS even if tooling cost is charged to customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.2 Service Visit / Installation:

  • On-site Visit Charges: ₹3,000/day per Engineer + Travel + Food + Accommodation at actuals for locations outside Chennai (50km radius).
  • Free Service Visit: One free commissioning visit within Chennai (50km) is included if explicitly mentioned in Quotation. For other states, installation is chargeable @ ₹25,000 per day.
  • Customer Responsibility: Customer to ensure - 1) Adequate 3-Phase power supply with proper earthing, 2) Ready civil foundation, 3) Water/Drain connection if required, 4) Material handling support, 5) Local Electrician on site. Engineer waiting charges of ₹2,000/day will be charged if site not ready.
  • Safety Disclaimer: Our engineer will not carry out high-voltage cabling, masonry work, or chemical handling. Customer to provide safety PPE for our engineer at site.
  • Remote Support: Free phone/video support for 1 year.
  • Any damage during installation due to improper handling by customer labour is not our responsibility.

5. GENERAL

  • Jurisdiction: All disputes subject to Chennai Jurisdiction only.
  • Governing Law: Indian Laws.
